The Clairy Bible
The Story of the Clairy Bible
(Winter 2003)
Once upon a time in a small school in Norfolk two girls were sat in an incredibly boring maths class in the first year of their GCSE’s. One of the girls was very unhappy, and so the other decided that she would try and do something to cheer her up.
This girl was called Claire, and she decided that she would start writing down a load of incredibly random quotes that would hopefully make her friends laugh. She passed the paper down the row of friends and everybody added bits and pieces to it. This carried on for an indefinite amount of time, until it was decided that it should be called the Clairy Bible.
Thus the Clairy Bible went down as a legend, never to be forgotten.
(February 2006)
Over three years later this same Claire decided to resurrect the Clairy Bible as an online resource to cheer everyone up (including herself). She adapted it so that the clairybible now consists of Clairism’s, -isms of her various friends, and also words which she herself has randomly made up. The problem with Claire is that she lets things come out of her mouth that bear no relation to her brain, which means that she thus ends up looking VERY silly! But anyway: enjoy!
